A 7,500-square-foot two and a half story home for a fashion designer in the suburbs of London, UK sits on a spectacular site. The residence is designed to permit the fashion designer the flexibility of entertaining and hosting private fashion shows for her best clients in addition to being a weekend oasis for her family.
The residence is constructed using two structural systems- a concrete structure for the base and an aluminum semi-monocoque shell construction for the roof.There are different routes through the residence, direct and quick, meandering and slow.
